Who we are
This website is run by Paper Hedgerow Press, the independent publisher of picture books written under the pen name Clara Fairweather. We are based in the United Kingdom and are the data controller for the information described here. Contact: hello@clarafairweather.com.
What we collect and why
If you ask for the free colouring page, we collect your email address, the date you signed up and the country your request came from (worked out automatically from your connection, used only to give you the right paper size). We use your email to send you occasional news about new books from Clara Fairweather. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box.
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we never sell or share your email address with anyone else.
Where it is stored
Sign-ups are stored securely with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. Buying the book happens on Amazon, under Amazon’s own privacy notice — we never see your payment details.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can simply email us.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing hello@clarafairweather.com. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
Our books are for children, but this sign-up is for grown-ups. Please don’t submit a child’s email address.
